What is Potty Police?

Is Potty Police free?

Yes. A Free account includes map, search, reviews, and reporting. Pro removes ads where offered and adds subscription benefits. Business is for verified owners managing a listing.

Which countries are supported?

We focus on the United States and Canada (including Alaska and Hawaii). See coverage & map data.

Do I have to share my location?

No. Location helps center the map on your position, but you can deny permission and still search by place name or address.

How do ads work on the free plan?

Advertising depends on platform:

• Web (pottypolice.app): Free users may see Google AdSense units when ads are enabled for the site. Sign-in and legal pages do not show ads.
• Android app: Free users may see Google AdMob ads (banner/interstitial patterns as implemented in the app).
• iOS app (1.0.1+): Free users may see Google AdMob ads while browsing—the same passive pattern as Android: no ads on sign-in; the map is available immediately after login; optional interstitial and banner ads while you use Map, Search, Ranks, and Profile. You may be asked for tracking permission when an ad may appear. Users on iOS 1.0 without updating may still have an ad-free free tier until they update.

How do I upgrade or manage billing?

Open Profile in the app. On web, Stripe handles checkout. On iPhone/iPad, use App Store subscriptions and Restore Purchases on Profile if needed. Manage Apple subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

How do officer ranks work?

You earn XP and rank up by filing helpful reviews — from Rookie Patroller to Chief of the Commode. See officer ranks.
