Tips for helpful restroom reviews

Write reports that help the next traveler

The best Potty Police reviews are specific, recent, and honest. You do not need a long essay — a few concrete details beat vague praise or anger. Here is what experienced officers include.

Before you stop

What to mention in your rating

Fair ratings

Use the full scale. A 5 means you would confidently recommend this stop to a friend on the same route. A 3 means acceptable but with clear issues. Reserve 1–2 for genuinely poor conditions. Consistent, calibrated ratings make Triple P meaningful.

Adding new locations

If a stop is missing from the map, file a new location report with the business name, type (gas, restaurant, rest area), and your initial review. That is how coverage grows — see coverage & data.

Community standards

Do not include personal attacks, protected-class slurs, or unrelated rants. Focus on the facility. Report abuse via help@pottypolice.app. Helpful officers earn higher ranks.
